On Sunday 5th May 2019 it was a clear night in East Clive. Perfect conditions for seeing the latest launch of a RocketLab rocket take off from Mahia Peninsula. At 6pm we saw it hit the sky and watched until it disappeared from sight. What a moment to have witnessed! and all while enjoying a perfect bonfire too... with the odd toasted marshmellow.
East Clive beach has plenty of driftwood available for a bonfire, and now that the fireban has been lifted it is a special experience to have when staying at the cottages.
